C&J Resources Learning Academy, Inc. is more than a tutoring program—we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to expanding educational opportunities for children and families throughout Tuscaloosa, Greene, Perry, and surrounding communities.

Our mission is to provide quality tutoring, academic support, enrichment, and educational resources that empower students to become more confident in their abilities and overall knowledge. Through personalized instruction and community partnerships, we work to help students overcome academic barriers, strengthen essential skills, and reach their full potential.

Our programs and services include:

• Personalized reading and math tutoring
• Reading and literacy intervention
• Homework and academic support
• Homeschool educational support
• STEM and hands-on enrichment activities
• Test preparation and academic readiness
• Summer learning and enrichment programs
• Family literacy and parent engagement activities
• School supply and backpack drives

Our Impact

C&J Resources Learning Academy, Inc. is committed to producing measurable results. We use student assessments, progress monitoring, academic performance, and family feedback to evaluate our programs and identify areas where students need additional support.

Our work has reached more than 325 students, and participating students have demonstrated meaningful academic growth. Among our tutoring students, 100% of participating third graders passed the ACAP Reading assessment, and students have demonstrated improvements in reading, mathematics, classroom performance, and academic confidence.
